Meet the New Members of Mu Epsilon Theta Foundation’s Board of Directors

Erik Dumantay

Even though Erik is not a Mu, but he is a friend to Mu Epsilon Theta. He’s actually an Honorary Mu! Erik brings over six years of professional experience in higher education, particularly working with first generation students. Erik began managing a college access and completion coaching program at Austin, and most recently, played a big role in developing and implementing a program at UT-Austin that aims to support its undocumented students through the university’s Division of Diversity and Community Engagement. More recently, Erik graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and finished an awesome final practicum with the Austin Police Department. Erik also has experience in career coaching, so feel free to reach out to him for a resume review or interview tips! Erik is excited to be joining the Mu Epsilon Theta Foundation Board and looks forward to supporting and growing the mission of the sorority.
